WinRanch 1.1d release version 6/27/95

WinRanch must install from floppy disks. If you downloaded
your copy you must unzip and copy all disk1 files to a floppy disk then
unzip and copy disk2 files to a seperate floppy. Then proceed with the installation.

To install place disk1 (the floppy you just made) in floppy drive A: and type.
From Windows Program Manager select File: Run: the type A:\setup    
Then press Enter and follow the instructions on the screen.
You may allso double click on the disk1 file "setup.exe" from File Manager or in
Explorer in Windows 95. 

share.exe must be installed in DOS or Windows 3.1 directory,
unless you are running Windows For Workgroups. Then VShare
takes its place.
share.exe must be loaded by config.sys.
Example:

install=c:\dos\share.exe/f:4096/l:40

End Example:

IMPORTANT NOTES!

DO NOT DELETE first record in the database until you have
started adding your own otherwise you will need to reinstall.

WinRanch Requires Windows regional settings
properties to be set to English (United States).

Operating Systems Compatibility:
WinRanch has been successfully tested under Win95.
Window For Workgroups, Windows 3.11 and Windows 3.1.

WinRanch is a database system for horse record keeping. 
Allthough WinRanch can produce statements for client 
purposes it is not a full fledged accounting system. If
you need a full fledged accounting system thier are several
off the shelf systems for Windows that may be used in 
conjuction with WinRanch.
